Is there a religious trollers' union? How does this stuff work? You meet up down at virtual Local 88 and search the blogiverse for entries that portray science in a positive light? Do they pay you? Just curious.

OK, anyway, paranoid rantings and discussions of Jesus Christ aside, the point of my post is that evolution and the approximate age of the earth can be empirically proven through experiment. While religious explanations of the origins of humankind may be important to you, they should be taught in churches, not schools. We should focus on what we *do* know, not make up wild stories to fill in the gaps of what we don't know.

Empirical: capable of being confirmed, verified, or disproved by observation or experiment; repeatable.History: The aggregate of past events or human affairs; having occurred in the past.Since history cannot be repeated, historical facts cannot be empirically proven.

This is true regardless of your belief about the ancestry of Jesus Christ.
